How to Braid Beads Into Your Hair
How to braid beads into hair
Braids with beads are a wonderful way to add some sparkle to your hair. Once you’ve mastered the fundamental manner of braiding with beads, you may construct a plethora of variants. To get this look, use floss. A threading tool may also suffice. If you don’t have much on hand, you may make this hairdo with only the beads and a little creativity.
Braiding Beads with Floss

1. Take two to three strands of hair and braid them together. These are the strands that will be braided. You may choose strands from either one side or the rear of your head. Starting with strands on one side may be simpler. If you’re using narrow beads, use thin strands; if the beads are large in diameter, choose larger strands.
- You may braid the strands a little to keep the bead in the centre.
- Alternatively, you may braid the remainder of your hair after placing the bead in your hair.

2. Wrap the floss around the strands and secure it. Two to three strands of your hair should be looped with the floss. The floss should then be tied around the strands. With the floss, tie a basic knot.
- If the strands aren’t already braided, they should create a V shape.

3. The floss ends should be threaded through the bead. Pass the bead through the floss’s ends. Pull the bead down to where it lies just above the floss knot in your hair.
- You might begin with thin and circular plastic craft beads. Over time, you may experiment with bigger or thinner professional metal beads.

4.Pull your hair and floss through the bead. Pull the bead through the floss and into your hair. Pull your hair and floss through the bead together gently. As you slip your hair through the bead, it may produce a “pop” sound.
- You may need to use a bigger bead or less hair in the braid if your hair does not readily pass through the bead with the floss. Begin again with a larger bead or less hair.

5. To keep the bead in place, use an elastic. Remove the floss and fasten the bead to your hair with a clear elastic band after it has slipped onto your hair. The bead may then be slipped over the elastic to secure it.
- If your hair is thick enough, you may not need an elastic to keep the bead in place.

6. Braid all the way around the bead. Braid the remainder of your hair and tie it with an elastic after the bead is in place. If you like, you may add additional beads and then braid your hair.
- Braid half way down your hair, then fasten a bead and braid the rest of the way. Change up the braids you use in your hair and add beads as you go.
Braiding Beads with a Threading Tool

1. Make a braid on your hair. Begin by braiding your hair as you choose. If you’re using broad beads, make thick braids. If you’re using narrow beads, make the braids narrower.
- If you want the bead to appear in the midst of the braid, leave half of it undone. If you want the bead to appear at the end of the braid, finish the braid but leave the bottom undone.

2. The threading tool should be looped around your braided hair. Hair threading tools are wire hooks that are thin and short. Wrap the threading tool’s hook around a section of your braided hair.
- Threading tools are available online or at beauty supply shops. Hair beads and pins to hold the beads in place are sometimes included in the package.
- Craft wire or jewelry wire may also be used to construct your own threading tool at home.

3. Grasp the bead and pull it through the threading tool. Take the bead and thread it through the threading tool’s two ends. Pull the bead through the tool until it reaches the top of your braided hair.

4. Thread the instrument with your hair and the bead. Pull your hair and bead through the threading tool after that. To get your hair between the bead and the threading tool, you may need to gently pull on it.

5. Make sure the bead is in place. Remove the threading tool from your hair and inspect the bead to ensure it is securely attached to your braid. To keep the bead in place, use a transparent elastic band. To keep the bead in place, tie the elastic band to your braid and slip the bead over it.
- A bead pin may also be used to hold the bead in place. To keep the bead in place, clip the bead pin to your braid and slip the bead over it.
Using Just the Beads and Water

1. Make a braid on your hair. Begin by braiding your hair in a desired location. The side of your head may be the most straightforward place to begin. If you’re using broad beads, make the braid thick, and if you’re using narrow beads, make it thin.

2. The braid’s end should be twisted. Leave the braid’s end untied. Then, using your fingers, twist the end into a thin strand of hair.

3. Wet the twisted end with water. Wet the coiled end of the hair with your tongue. You may also soak the end with a spray bottle of water or run it under running water
- It will be simpler to thread through the bead if you wet the end.

4. The bead should be threaded through your hair. Thread the bead through the damp, coiled end of the hair with care. Attempt to get all of your hair inside the bead’s aperture.

5. Use a hair elastic to keep it in place. Slide the bead up the braid to the desired position. Then secure your hair with a clear hair elastic. To keep the bead in place, pull it over the hair elastic.
- After that, you may braid the remainder of your hair or add additional beads as desired.
