How to Catch Sandygast in Pokémon Sun and Moon

Sandygast is a Ghost/Ground-type Pokémon in Pokémon Sun and Moon that develops into the sand castle-like Palossand. This guide will show you how to capture it.

Steps

1. Determine the location of Sandygast. It is located on the beach of Hano Grand Resort. At any time of day, you have a 20% chance of discovering one. One may be found between levels 21 and 24.

2. Visit the Hano Grand Resort. It’s on Akala Island, to the east of Heahea City. If you aren’t already there, use the Charizard Glide to get there quicker.

3. Go to the Hano Grand Resort’s beach area, where you’ll see some sand clouds on the beach. Enter the sand clouds to meet a Pokémon, which will either be Staryu or Sandygast. If you use up all of the sand clouds and don’t locate a Sandygast, depart and re-enter the region to respawn the sand clouds.

4. Catch a Sandygast once you discover it. Because it will be quite low level, you may utilize a Nest Ball to make the catch simpler. If it’s late at night, you may also utilize a Dusk Ball.
